Directed by three time Academy-Award nominated, Franco-Algerian director Rachid Bouchareb, is set against the backdrop of the July 7th 2005 terrorist attacks. The film follows Elisabeth (BAFTA winner, Academy Award® nominee Brenda Blethyn) as she travels from her small farming community to London in the aftermath of the bombings after failing to hear from her daughter. Elisabeth is disturbed by the predominantly Muslim neighborhood where her daughter lived. Her fear and prejudice escalate when she discovers that her daughter was converting to Islam and as she keeps crossing paths with Ousmane (Berlin's Silver Bear winner, Sotigui Kouyaté), a West African who has come from France to find his missing son. Although they come from very different backgrounds, Elizabeth and Ousmane share the same hope of finding their children alive. Putting aside their cultural differences, they give each other the strength to continue the search and maintain their faith in humanity.
The film will be released theatrically in New York Citystarting Wednesday December 7th, 2011 at Cinema Village followed by the Los Angeles opening at Laemmle’s Royal Theatre on December 16th.

Proposal from the Archeological Magazine in the United States Of America to Tunisia
Benefit Tunisia and its world of archaeology. One of our editors is interested in getting an update on the opening of the newly renovated Bardo Museum. She would also be interested in any kind of press tour that would be part of the re-opening.
Also, since our initial meeting, there has been much interest here at ARCHAEOLOGY MAGAZINE in what is happening with regards to any excavations or even site preservation projects that are going on in Tunisia . If we can find the right thing to do a story on, we will pursue it.
We invite Tunisia to cooperate in realizing this project

Being a strain of jasmine, “Arabian Jasmine”
The tree releases a nice and pleasant smell especially in the evening.
This variety of jasmine is only found in Tunisia and has a special shape and smell.
Arabian machmoum plays an important role socially
Stratifying the granules of the "Arabian jasmine" tree to form the so-called “machmoum” (bouquet) is one of the traditional crafts in Tunisia.
The flower holds a significant role in weddings and is used in the psychological preparation of both the bride and the groom the day of their wedding.
Tunisian "Arabian jasmine" is a distinctive hallmark as far as the cultivation of Tunisian plants and the manufacture of perfumes at home and abroad are considered.Generations of young men and women inherited the prevailing belief that "the Arabian jasmine machmoum" is a symbol of manhood.
