Mission statement
We, the Tunisians of the US are committed to help provide services and help inform and bridge gaps between THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and TUNISIA. This website will continue providing informations, advices, translations, services and any help needed from the Tunisian Community in the US and the Great People of America
The AAAWomens'Leadership Council is a Non-Profit Organization with the following Mission
The specific and primary purposes for which this corporation is formed are to operate for the advancement of religious, literary, cultural and charitable purposes, by the distribution of its funds for such purposes, and particularly for development of public activities, production of various events, and organization of specific workshops and undertakings geared to intercultural exchanges between Arab and African and American Women’s, These activities include the production and sponsoring of events such conferences, training seminars, programs and seminars for academics1 professionals and for the general public. including but not limited to audio video, film and multimedia documentaries, Jive public seminars and conferences, the creation of books, pamphlets online e-learning courses, pod-casting, social networking web sites.

Being a strain of jasmine, “Arabian Jasmine”
The tree releases a nice and pleasant smell especially in the evening.
This variety of jasmine is only found in Tunisia and has a special shape and smell.
Arabian machmoum plays an important role socially
Stratifying the granules of the "Arabian jasmine" tree to form the so-called “machmoum” (bouquet) is one of the traditional crafts in Tunisia.
The flower holds a significant role in weddings and is used in the psychological preparation of both the bride and the groom the day of their wedding.
Tunisian "Arabian jasmine" is a distinctive hallmark as far as the cultivation of Tunisian plants and the manufacture of perfumes at home and abroad are considered.Generations of young men and women inherited the prevailing belief that "the Arabian jasmine machmoum" is a symbol of manhood.

Tunisia firmly condemns the assassination of Benazir Bhutto
Tunis, December 27, 2007- Following the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto on Thursday, “Tunisia has reacted with deep regret and consternation to the news of the killing of former Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto.
While firmly condemning this odious criminal act, Tunisia expresses its solidarity with the brotherly Pakistani people, as well as its concern for its security and stability.
It also reaffirms its rejection of terrorism in all its forms and renews its call to the international community to join its efforts in order to contain this dangerous phenomenon.”

The Tunisian Cultural & Information Center is in the heart of Manhattan, one block from Empire State Buildings and one block from Macy's; the biggest shopping center in the world, very close to grand central, to the U.N. and to Times-Square.
The "dream" became reality thank you Tunisia and the Tunisian Cultural and Information Center is born the 25th of July 2007 , the Tunisian Republic Day Anniversary. It is the First of its kind in the United States of America. It started when telling people that I come from Tunisia “Tunisia” was confused with&1dquo;Malaysia” “Indonesia”. People need to know more about Tunisia the country, the history, the people, the culture, the religion,the art, the hospitality, women's status, the greatness of Carthage,tourism & economy.
The Tunisian Cultural and Information Center welcomes all communities without distinction to join and be active. The grassroots of today in the USA will grow up with the new generations of Tunisian-Americans and American-Tunisians carrying the mission of their Tunisian Identity and culture as a whole and the“COM-UNITY as a Community ” in USA.
